The Lewin Center’s 20th Anniversary Culminating Event will bring together people who care about leadership, change, organizations, communities, and the common good to reflect on what this legacy offers today and imagine what we might create together for the future.

Why We’re Gathering
Anniversaries invite us to remember. This one also invites us to act.
Throughout our 20th year, Lewin Dialogues are bringing people together to explore the questions shaping our organizations, institutions, and communities. Our culminating event will bring those conversations into one room and turn our attention toward the future.
We will ask what we have learned, what this moment requires, and how Lewin’s enduring ideas about participation, human behavior, systems, and change can help us move forward.
Because a legacy remains meaningful not simply when it is remembered, but when it is used.
What to Expect
The experience will move through four ideas:
Reflect
Honor the people, ideas, and moments that shaped The Lewin Center’s first 20 years and reconnect with the legacy that inspired its creation.
Connect
Build relationships across disciplines, organizations, generations, and perspectives.
Co-Create
Explore the questions and possibilities emerging from our anniversary year and imagine what responsive leadership and meaningful change might require next.
Act
Leave with new connections, ideas, questions, and commitments that can travel beyond the gathering itself.
Who Should Be There?
You.
This gathering is for people who believe that how we lead, learn, organize, and create change matters.
We welcome leaders, practitioners, educators, researchers, students, TLC donors, community members, organizational change-makers, longtime Lewin community members, and people encountering these ideas for the first time.
You do not need to be a Lewin scholar to belong in the conversation.
You only need to be willing to ask important questions, listen across perspectives, and help imagine what comes next.
